For the past twenty years Marko Gosar has been working in the decorative painting field. With his highly skilled team, he has created elaborate decorative surface treatments for some of the finest residences in the United States. Gosar holds an MFA in fine art printmaking and a BFA in painting from the Academy of Visual Arts in Slovenia. His training emphasized traditional figurative studies, perspective, easel painting, and classic wall painting techniques. He also trained and worked as a commercial printer for several years at a large Slovenian company.

In the early years of his artistic career he exhibited his figurative art in Europe and USA and won numerous national and international awards. Gosar’s work is held in the permanent collections of Slovenian museums. He has received Fullbright and Ford Foundation grants for advanced studies in Art.
